Aber vorher m\u00f6chte ich noch diese Serie hier abschliessen :-).<\/p>\n<p>Neuseeland hatte ich schon sehr lange auf der Liste. Aber ein Freund von mir meinte, dass ich dies machen k\u00f6nne, wenn ich pensioniert sei. Dies, da es sehr einfach sei. Ich entschied aber nicht so lange zu warten. Deshalb ging es von Cairns in Australien weiter nach Auckland, der gr\u00f6ssten Stadt von Neuseeland, aber eben nicht die Hauptstadt. Ich umfuhr die Nordspitze, &#8222;genoss&#8220; den Coromandel Walkway schiebend mit dem Velo und fuhr weiter Richtung S\u00fcden. Am Anfang alleine und sp\u00e4ter mit Jocke, den ich unterwegs traf. Nach einem Zwischenhalt bei den heissen Quellen von Rotorua, ging es in die Berge zum <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.biketravel.net\/bike-around-the-world\/rotorua-tongariro\/\" target=\"_blank\">Mount Doom bzw. Ngauruhoe<\/a> und seinem Nachbar Ruapehu zum Wandern. Daraufhin musste ich mich etwas erholen und nahm den Zug nach Wellington&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Weihnachten verbrachte ich auf der <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.biketravel.net\/bike-around-the-world\/south-island-wellington-christchurch\/\" target=\"_blank\">S\u00fcdinsel<\/a> in Nelson und Neujahr in Kaikoura. Dann ging es weiter nach Christchurch. Die Fahrt dorthin und danach weiter zum Lake Tekapo war wiederum eine Augenweide. Unglaublich sch\u00f6n! und auch die n\u00e4chsten Tage zum <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.biketravel.net\/bike-around-the-world\/stormy-christchurch-mt-cook-te-anau\/\" target=\"_blank\">Mount Cook<\/a> und weiter bis hinunter nach Te Anau liessen mich staunen. Dieses Mal der <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.biketravel.net\/bike-around-the-world\/not-so-wet-west-coast\/\" target=\"_blank\">Westk\u00fcste<\/a> entlang bis wieder ganz nach oben in Nelson. Nach einem kurzen Trekking im Abel Tasman Park nahm ich die F\u00e4hre zur\u00fcck nach Wellington. Dort deponierte ich mein Velo. Denn f\u00fcr ein paar Wochen ging es an einen ganz anderen Ort: <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.biketravel.net\/bike-around-the-world\/holidays-from-cycling-vanuatu-part-1\/\" target=\"_blank\">Vanuatu<\/a>. Das ganz ohne Velo daf\u00fcr mit <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.biketravel.net\/bike-around-the-world\/santo-efate-vanuatu-part-3\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tauchausr\u00fcstung<\/a>. Und <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.biketravel.net\/bike-around-the-world\/tanna-yasur-vanuatu-part-2\/\" target=\"_blank\">Vulkane<\/a> gab es dort auch.<\/p>\n<p>Wieder zur\u00fcck in Neuseeland fuhr ich von Wellington aus der Westk\u00fcste entlang via <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.biketravel.net\/bike-around-the-world\/ups-and-downs-wellington-taranaki-auckland\/\" target=\"_blank\">Mt. Taranaki<\/a> bis ganz nach Norden bis zum <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.biketravel.net\/bike-around-the-world\/cape-reinga-and-back\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cape Reinga<\/a>. Und von dort wieder zur\u00fcck nach Auckland. Das war es mit Neuseeland (und Vanuatu). Eine unglaublich sch\u00f6ne und spannende Zeit! <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.biketravel.net\/bike-around-the-world\/nz-by-bicycle-summary\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sehr zu empfehlen<\/a> und auch f\u00fcr fast alle machbar. Das ist das Sch\u00f6ne an Neuseeland :-).<\/p>\n<p>So schaut selbst, oder lest die Details in den <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.biketravel.net\/berichte\/new-zealand-201213\/\" target=\"_blank\">Berichten aus dieser Zeit<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Stefan<\/p>\n<p>PS: Nach Neuseeland besuchte ich noch kurz Sydney und <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.biketravel.net\/berichte\/australia-tasmania-2012-13\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tasmanien<\/a> bevor es per Flugzeug via <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.biketravel.net\/bike-around-the-world\/on-the-way-home-melbourne-singapore-amsterdam\/\" target=\"_blank\">Singapur<\/a> nach Amsterdam ging.
