It was actually the plan to take the ferry today from Quellon to Chaiten. However, this is not going to happen. Major stomach issue force me to change plans again. I will stay in Quellon till my stomach is stable again and will then go by bus back to Puerto Montt to take the ferry from there to Chaiten. I hope this is going to happen on Monday.
\nNatasha Young wrote in here blog that Puerto Montt is one of the worst places to be<\/a>. However, Quellon is not really better. With an unemployment rate of around 70% last year, the place had much better times before. One of the main reasons for that seems to be problems in the Salmon industrie. But more about that later on.
